The UK’s Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has appointed Emma Floyd as its new Director of Sport and Gambling, succeeding Ben Dean who moved to a Cabinet role in early 2026. Floyd announced her selection on LinkedIn on 8 June, committing to “getting the balance right” in her new position.
