Editorial Policy

Casino Capybara reviews online casinos with a calm, player-first standard. Our goal is to make safety, payments, bonus terms, market availability, and responsible gambling tools easier to compare.

Rating methodology

Every review shows a headline Capy-Score out of 10, calculated from five category scores using these weights:

  • Safety and licensing: 30%
  • Payout speed and reliability: 30%
  • Bonuses and value: 20%
  • Games and software: 12%
  • Support quality: 8%

The rounding and the rule for casinos with missing category scores are set out in our casino review methodology.

What we check

We look for licensing information, market availability, payment methods, withdrawal conditions, verification requirements, bonus terms, wagering requirements, responsible gambling tools, support routes, and visible player-risk information.

What we avoid

  • No guaranteed winnings language.
  • No claims that gambling is a way to make income.
  • No invented licensing status, payout guarantees, or bonus amounts.
  • No content aimed at minors.
  • No bonus-heavy public Ontario framing.

Affiliate relationships

Affiliate compensation may exist on commercial pages, but it must not determine review scores, ranking order, or editorial conclusions. If data is unknown, we use neutral language such as check operator terms, availability varies by location, and terms apply.

Corrections

Casino information changes. If a license, payment method, withdrawal note, or terms summary appears outdated, contact us with the page URL and the source for review.

Contact & corrections

If any licence, payment, withdrawal or bonus detail looks outdated, contact us with the page URL and a source and the team will review it.
