Arizona sports betting handle declines in April

The Arizona Department of Gaming reported that sports betting handle in the state reached $737.2m in April, a 1.2% decline compared to the same month last year. The figure also dropped from $836.9m recorded in March. The state collected $6m in event wagering privilege fees for the month. The data reflects a slight year-over-year contraction in Arizona’s sports betting market.
