Provisional Measure (Medida Provisória) nº 1.394 of 25 September 2026 prohibits the exploration, offer, intermediation and advertising of fixed-odds betting — including online casino games — in Brazil, and ends existing authorisations 30 days after publication. While that remains in force, Casino Capybara does not rank, recommend or link to any operator for Brazil, and presents this page as legal-status information instead.
To check whether a company is authorised to operate fixed-odds betting in Brazil, use the official government service at gov.br: "Consultar as empresas autorizadas a operar apostas de quota fixa" (Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas, Ministério da Fazenda).
A Medida Provisória is provisional and must be converted into law by the National Congress to remain permanently in force; this page will be updated if that changes. As of 15 October 2026 Congress has not converted it: the deliberation window runs to 23 November 2026 and urgency starts on 9 November 2026.
